Edited some screenshots from tonight’s dinner at King Cajun on Mills in Orlando, Fl. They hooked it up for us with 3lbs of they Shabang style shrimp, some rice, corn & potatoes. Owner, Ha Nguyen, is a former Louisiana native and has her own secret recipes. She also blessed us with her handmade beignets, delicate and fluffy pastries topped with powdered sugar.
This spot is hands down our favorite spot in the Mills 50 district, if not all of Orlando alone. Warm environment to get comfy in a bib & using your hands. We will definitely come back as we always do, but this episode is going to take you in from our point of view, as well as go over a bit of upcoming projects, locations, food questions, GoodCooks t-shirts & more. Stay tuned! We have a lot in store for 2014.
Tippi Degré grew up riding a five-ton elephant whom she called ‘my brother,’ chilling with cheetahs, and hugging a giant bullfrog like a Teddy bear.
The child of French wildlife photographer parents, Tippi spent her incredible childhood in Africa with her best friends: wild lion cubs, a mongoose, a snake, a cheetah, baby zebra, giraffes, and crocodiles.
